GENERAL INFORMATION ON UZBEKISTAN

Uzbekistan is endowed with some of the most magnificent buildings in the Islamic world, breathtaking monuments created by these ancient rulers in an attempt to ensure their own immortality. It is a journey through oasis, river valley, desert and grassland to the foothills and mountains of the western Tian Shan and Gissaro-Alay Ranges. Uzbekistan as a tourist destination is in its infancy but for the adventurous and well-traveled it holds the architectural gems of Central Asia.

DAY 01           KUALA LUMPUR / TASHKENT          (D)

Depart Kuala Lumpur International Airport for Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Meet upon arrival and transfer to the hotel. Free at leisure for the remainder of the day until dinner transfer.

 

DAY 02           TASHKENT/ URGENCH – KHIVA      (BLD) After breakfast, proceed to the domestic airport for your flight to Urgench. Meet upon arrival and transfer to Khiva. Upon arrival into Khiva, spent the remainder of the day for a city tour of Khiva covering Ota Darvaza, Kalta Minor, Mukhammad Amin Khan Madrassah, Kunya Ark (with panoramic view of Khiva) & back to the hotel for some refreshment before proceeding for dinner. Dinner at a local restaurant and back to the hotel for the night.

 

DAY 03           KHIVA                                     (BLD)

Continue the City Tour of Khiva. Today the tour will take you for historical visit surrounding the city beginning with, Mukhammad Rahim Khan Madrassah, Pahlavan Makhmud Mausoleum, Islam Khoja Minaret and Madrassah, Juma Mosque, Tash Hovli (Harem). Return to the hotel after dinner and free at leisure for the remainder of the day.

 

DAY 04           KHIVA/ BUKHARA                (BLD)

After 3 wonderful days touring Khiva, the tour will take you to the historic city of Bukhara where the drive will take around 7 hours but various tourist stops will be arranged including the view of Amudarya River. Check into the hotel for some rest and free at leisure. In the evening, dinner transfer to a local restaurant accompanied with some local performances.

 

DAY 05           BUKHARA                               (BLD)

Breakfast in the hotel and proceed to continue with the city tour of Bukhara. Today the tour will take you to the Bahouddin Nakshbandi mausoleum, Kalyan Minaret and Poi Kalyan Mosque, Miri Arab madrassah, Toki Zargaron Dome, Ulugbek and Abdullazizkhan madrassah, Toki Telpak Furushon Dome, Magoki Attory mosque, Toki Sarafon Dome, Lyabi Hauz complex Ark fortress, Bolo House mosque, Ismail Samoni Mausoleum, Chashma Ayub Mausoleum and the local bazaar before back to the hotel for the night.

 

DAY 06           BUKHARA / SAMARKAND                (BLD)

Early morning departure from Bukhara to the next destination, the city  of Samarkand. The drive to Samarkand will be through Gijdubvan with lunch en route. Arrive Samarkand and check into the hotel for some rest. Dinner at the local restaurant and free at leisure for the remainder of the day.

 

DAY 07           SAMARKAND                          (BLD)

Full day city tour of Samarkand visiting the Registan square with

three madrassahs, Bibi Khanum Mosque and bazaar, Gur Emir Mausoleum, Shakhi Zinda necropolis Of Temurids, Ulugbek Observatory, Afrosiyab and Imam Al Bukhariy Memorial complex Dinner at the local restaurant and back to the hotel for the night.

 

DAY 08                       SAMARKAND / TASHKENT   (BLD)

Drive to Tashkent. Arrive Tashkent and proceed for a half day city tour of the city. The visit will cover Amir Temur Square, Courage Monument, Hasti Imam complex, Chorsu bazaar, Kukeldash madrassah, Applied Art museum, People’s Friendship Square and Abul Kasim madrassah (handicrafts workshops), Applied Arts Museum. Farewell dinner and to the hotel for the night.

 

 

DAY 09                       TASHKENT / KUALA LUMPUR          (B)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Kuala Lumpur.

DAY 01 KUALA LUMPUR / TASHKENT

Depart Kuala Lumpur International Airport for Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

 

DAY 02 TASHKENT (B L D)

Meet upon arrival by our representatives and transfer to the hotel for some rest. Breakfast in the morning and free at leisure for the rest of the morning.  After lunch, the tour program starts off with short city tour of Tashken visitng Navoi theater Square,Barak-Khan Madrasah,Kaffal-shashi mausoleum,kukeldash Madrasah,Djuma Mosque,Museum of Applied arts and Historical Museum.

 

DAY 03 TASHKENT / SAMARKAND (BLD)

After breakfast at hotel, Proceed for Half day sightseeing tour of Tashkent.  Visiting the Old City,  Chorsu Bazaar, Kukeldash complex, Kulkeldash Madrassah, Frendship Square, and Applied Arts Museum.  In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Samarkand.  Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and free at your own until overnight.

 

DAY 03 SAMARKAND (BLD)

After breakfast, full day sightseeing tour of Samarkand visiting Registan Square with three Madrassah’s, Bibi Khanum Mosque, The Silk Road Bazaar, Gur Emir Mausoleum, Shakhi Zinda necropolis Of Temurids.In the afternoon, visit Afrosiyab Museum site and Ulugbek Observatory. Overnight at hotel.

 

DAY 05 SAMARKAND / TASHKENT (BLD)

After breakfast, proceed for morning excursion to Iman Al Bukhari Esemble.  Transferred to Tashkent in afternoon, Free at leisure in Tashkent ofr simply opt for more last minute shopping (own arrangement) before proceeding to the hotel for the night.  Lunch and dinner will be arranged in the hotel.

 

DAY 06 TASHKENT/KUALA LUMPUR (BLD)

Breakfast at hotel, visiting Museum of Decorative, Amir Temur Park and Bazaar for your own shopping.  Lunch & dinner will be arranged  in a local restaurant before proceeding back to the airport for your flight back to Kuala Lumpur with sweet memories of Uzbekistan. Late Check out.

Depart Kuala Lumpur International Airport for Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Meet upon arrival by our representatives and transfer to the hotel. Proceed for a short city tour of Tashkent covering the Hasti Imam Complex, Chorsu Bazaar, Kukeldash & the Barakhan Madrassahs. Dinner and back to the hotel for the night.

 

DAY 02           TASHKENT / BUKHARA (BLD)

Early morning check out for the airport to meet the flight to Bukhara departing around 0925 hours. Meet upon arrival and proceed to the hotel for early check in. After lunch, tour commences by visiting the Ark Fortress, Bolo House Mosque, Ismail Samonid Mausoleum, Chasmai Ayub and the Bazaar. Continue tour to Bahouddin Nakshbandi Mausoleum.

 

DAY 03           BUKHARA (BLD)

After breakfast, full day tour in Bukhara visiting the Kalyan Minaret and Poi Kalyan Mosque, Miri Arab madrassah, Toki Zargaron Dome, Ulugbek and Abdullazizkhan madrassah, Toki Telpak Furushon Dome, Magoki Attory Mosque and Lyabi Hauz complex. Proceed for dinner with local folk performance.

 

DAY 04           BUKHARA / SAMARKAND (BLD)

Early morning drive to Samarkand (5 Hours) via Gijduvan.Lunch in Gijduvan and continue drive to Samarkand & free.Check into hotel.Dinner and overnight.  

 

DAY 5                         SAMARKAND (BLD)

After breakfast, full day sightseeing tour of Samarkand visiting Registan Square with three Madrassah’s, Bibi Khanum Mosque, Bazaar, Gur, Emir Mausoleum, Shakhi Zinda necropolis Of Temurids, Ulugbek Observatory, ruins of ancient city Afrosiyab.

Visit Imam Al Bukhariy Memorial and after lunch, drive to Tashkent (3 Hours).Free time for city exploring and for rest. Dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 07           TASHKENT / KUALA  LUMPUR (BLD)

City tour of Tashkent visiting Amir Temur Square, Courage Monument, People’s Friendship Square and Abul Kasim madrassah (handicrafts workshops), Applied Arts Museum. Farewell dinner and transfer to airport. Late check out at 1800hrs
